Adorable Ivory Lacy Matinee Outfit – Newborns, Reborns Picture(s) and Description:

Teddycraft Store Adorable Ivory Lacy Matinee Outfit This beautiful matinee outfit consists of a matinee jacket, lacy pants, booties, a bonnet and a headband. The jacket is knitted in a lovely all-over lacy shell-like pattern. A row of lace is attached at the bottom of the jacket and sleeves and two rows of lace are around the stocking stitch yoke. It fastens with 3 ivory pearl buttons. The above the knee pants are in the same lacy pattern as the jacket, with a row of lace around each leg. Ivory satin ribbon has been threaded through the ribbed waistband to adjust the fitting, and an ivory poinsettia with pearls has been sewn to the front of the pants. The cute little booties are knitted in garter stitch with a stocking stitch instep. A row of lace is attached to the foot and top of each bootie and another ivory satin ribbon poinsettia with pearls has been sewn to each instep. The booties tie with ivory satin ribbon. The lacy pattern has been carried through to the bonnet. A garter stitch band, threaded with ivory satin ribbon and a row of lace, frame the face. This ivory ribbon carries through to tie the bonnet and I have also sewn three ivory poinsettias to the lace. The back of the bonnet starts with another row of ivory lace and then finishes with an eyelet swirl to another satin ribbon poinsettia. The headband is in garter stitch with a picot edges and a row of lace in the centre. I have finished it off with an ivory satin ribbon poinsettia and a bow made from string pearls. All of the poinsettias on the outfit have been securely hand sewn into position. The outfit is knitted in an 8 ply soft ivory acrylic yarn and was made to fit a 0 - 3 mths baby or an 18" - 21" doll. I have displayed the outfit on Bianca, my 19" Luca and also Olivia, a beautiful 20" Hannah reborn created for me by the very talented Davina of Cherubs with Love.
