(Approximately) - Heavy Realistic feel Length: 23” (Approximately) Thank you for stopping by my auction and taking a peek at my newest creations. I have enjoyed reborning this little one with all my heart. She was created from a hard to find Berenguer play doll, and I gave her full limbs from another Berenguer play doll and an anatomically correct full-size tummy plate. She is now a beautiful work of art, and the newest member of the Nighty Nursery family. My name is Sarah Prowant, and I am the reborn artist behind Nighty Nursery located on the front range of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. I have been an admirer of dolls my entire life, and have enjoyed almost five wonderful years of reborning. I have a great passion for my work, and I use only the finest materials available. Each baby is created with both care and detail. I spend many hours perfecting these little babies and know that you won't be disappointed in this baby or any of my work. In the fantastic art of reborning, an ordinary baby doll becomes a realistic lifelike baby that someone will be able to love and cherish for years to come. Haylee came to me as a plain play-doll, but I created her in the beautiful glowing princess she is today. She has FULL vinyl limbs, so she'll just melt into your arms. She feels so real that holding her is a real treat. I make sure my babies are weighted as realistically as possible. She has been weighted with soft hypo-allergenic pollyfill and crushed glass in all the right places to make her feel like you are holding a real baby. Her vinyl limbs and head have also been weighted for a realistic feel. You won't want to put baby Haylee down, she is so cuddly! Her head also needs supported, just like a real baby. Her skin tone is so amazing and incredibly lifelike! Before I began bringing Haylee to life, I gave her a nice warm bubble bath to wash away any residue. I then colored her with my own unique blend of colors on the outside with thin layers Genesis heat set paints to achieve “living” skin tones. These paints are permanent and will never fade or peel. She has beautiful undertones and her skin is more transparent around her little nose, eyes and mouth just like a real babies. She has mottled skin and subtle veining in her little head. Around her eyelids are tiny capillaries, and I gave her a blotchy textured skin on her little cheeks. She has been shaded and blushed in all of her sweet little creases, with no detail being overlooked. Her realism is so incredible; when you hold her it will feel like you are looking into the face of a living baby! I worked very hard on her coloring and was very pleased with how it turned out. I gave Haylee beautiful blue eyes and gave them a kiss of realistic infant wetness; She looks like she will blink any moment! You’ll just want to smother her in kisses! I painstakingly micro-rooted Haylee's hair in a beautiful light blonde wavy angora mohair. It is so long and can be put in all sorts of styles! I spent hours on her hair, and the outcome was so worth it. The feel and quality of this mohair is amazing, you’ll think you are running your fingers over a real baby’s head. Her hair has also been sealed on the inside, so her new mommy can wash and style her hair occasionally. I hand painted Haylee's lips in a beautiful natural shade, and then shaded and highlighted them to give depth. I gave them a touch of gloss for a moist appearance. Her little nose has been opened and back by dark felt to give the appearance of breathing. Haylee's hands and feet have been highly detailed and given detailing of thin ivory tips (avoiding the look of a French manicure that some dolls have) and then sealed with glaze for a subtle shine and protection. I make all my own doll bodies and created a custom body out of soft, natural fabric just for her. The tummy plate that comes with her is NOT part of her body, it's just an extra piece for pictures and posing. Please not that this does not fit exactly over the tummy area or snap on, it's just for looks. Her limbs are jointed for extra mobility for cuddling or posing. She will just melt into your arms. Her clothing is simply amazing, each piece picked out just for her. Haylee wears size 3-6 Month clothing - she's all girl! I also gave her a magnetic pacifier. Please be aware that this can be dangerous around pacemakers and other electronic devices as the magnets are very strong. (If you would prefer, I can remove the magnets and give her a non-magnet pacifier using sticky-tack. Please let me know your preference when the auction ends.)
