WELCOME BABY Holly WEIGHT 5 lbs 8 oz LENGTH 19" The nursery welcomes Baby Holly. Holly was created from an adorable “Sugar” sculpt by talented artist Donna RuBert. My name is Charity Brunsmann and I am the artist behind Nana Kaye’s Nursery. Although I am fairly new to reborning, I am constantly perfecting my techniques. As well as researching and learning about the newest methods in reborning. I spend countless hours on each and every baby bringing them to life. I enjoy painting every little detail to make these babies as lifelike and realistic as I possibly can. I hope they will capture someone’s heart and they will fall in love with them as I have. Baby Holly’s parts were all given a warm sudsy bath before I began layering on her adorable baby skin. I use a my own special blend of paints and mediums to create that slight mottled look that most real babies have. Her little nose has not been opened, but shaded to aid in the appearance of realism. I have built up shades of color on her tiny lips and sealed them to give them a moist natural look. I have given baby Holly a sparse head of little honey blonde curls, with premium mohair. She even has a few highlights of light blonde. Her hair has been sealed inside her head and can be gently wetted and restyled. I have painted on her “barely there” eyebrows one stroke at time, and had rooted her little eyelashes out of matching premium mohair. Her adorable head and limbs have been weighted with tiny glass beads and topped with high quality fiber fill that will resist wadding. When you pick her up she feels much like a real newborn, you even need to remember to support her little head like you would a real baby. Are you little Holly's new mommy? Her cubby little fingers and toes have been painted and topped with white tips, and double sealed for durability. All of my photographs were taken in natural light to attempt to show her skin tones actual coloring. However some pictures may appear a little darker as it has been particularly gloomy here the last few days. She is actually quite adorable in real life, she has a beautiful pinkish baby complexion. Holly was given a magnetic pacifier so extreme caution should be taken around people with pacemakers, computers and electronics. Holly has jointed doe suede body, ¾ arms and full legs so she can wear almost any clothes. She can wear newborn or 0/3 months sizes. All weights and measurements are an approximate guide.
