I have fussed over every little detail of this sweetie and she has turned out so darling!! She was actually the subject for the my last tutorial "Painting African American Skin-tones"! If you are interested in the tutorial, let me know...you will see Brooklyn being painted from start to finish! I just adore this little girl and I do believe she will make someone very happy. She will be going home packaged very securely and smelling oh so sweet of that wonderful baby smell that we all love so much I have painted many layers of my special blend of permanent Genesis Heat Set paints to give Brooklyn the most precious life-like baby skin. You will not find any part of her that hasn't been detailed. She even has painted hair and eyebrows which frame her sweet little face perfectly! Each layer gives her a very life-like multi-dimensional skin tone, I think you will be very pleased with her lovely baby "skin". Her nose, eyes and mouth have a moist look to them and her nose has been opened so she can "breathe". I have given her the sweetest little baby manicure, and have created realistic veining, which really bring baby Brooklyn to life After painting Brooklyn's skin, I micro-rooted VERY high quality Black Angora mohair just one or two strands at a time into her adorable little scalp. This hair is the BEST I have ever worked with and I couldn't have been happier with how it turned out. You will not see big plugs of hair, but only thousands of tiny little hair follicles. She has the most gorgeous "swirl" on the back her head, which has been rooted directionaly to mimic the real hair growth patterns of a real baby. I have sealed the inside of her scalp so that her hair can be lightly misted, combed and styled. I always include a Pediatric brush and comb set with my babies which is perfect for brushing their fine baby hair Brooklyn's hair is soooooo soft, her new mommy will have so much fun playing with it! I have given Brooklyn the most gorgeous Dark Brown Masterpiece eyes and black wispy lashes. They look soooo real as I have used a special glaze over the eye to give it that sweet sparkle, like a real baby would have! Brooklyn is sooo chubby and sweet! I love holding her...she feels VERY real! She has been weighted a nice 7 pounds. Her weight consists of tiny glass beads (which have been sealed so as not to leak), and the highest quality Cluster Stuff (non-clumping) fiber fill. Her head will need support just as a real baby's head would. She has the most precious 3/4 arms and full legs, so there are lots of fun posing and clothing possibilities. She is so huggable and floppy, you won't want to put her down. She is a dream to hold and will just melt in your arms!! All of Brooklyn's pictures were taken outside in natural daylight. This way her true coloring can be seen.
