I have been a canvas artist for 40 years. I have also sculpted in polymer clay and created soft sculpt art dolls, but my true passion is creating these beautiful babies. Ever since the first one was brought to life I was hooked. I spend endless hours creating these beautiful works of art. Each little one has her / his own personality that shines through. LACEY is the sweetest little open eyed baby. She has the most precious look on her face. You want to hold her , but you put her down only to see the beautiful stretching poses she can do. You just want to take her in your arms and hold her forever. I know I could sit and rock her all day. And she does like to be held and rocked. You can get lost in those precious eyes. LACEY has beautiful, soft to touch, med brown hair. This is micro rooted one to two strands at a time. She has a beautiful newborn baby complexion with blushing. You can see every wrinkle and fold. Her complexion is that of a newborn baby. She has light veining and blotching put in all the right places. Here skin has been done in layers to give her a 3-D look. LACEY has beautifully done fingers and toes. Her little nails have not grown the little half moons yet. Her pictures do not do her justice. Her little complexion is so much more beautiful in person. ~*~*~*~*~ LACEY will not be disappointed you. . Lacey has beautiful newborn baby skin. She has light blushing with tiny light veining and tiny stork bites. She has light blotches that a newborn baby girl would have. Her skin has the baby tones to give a 3-d look. I worked many hours that turns into days to get the skin just right. She has such a beautiful face that her under tones and 3-d effect really shows thru. Her skin is done in layers and layers of Genesis heat set paints. Each layer is heat set before the next layer begins. I mix my own colors. Her skin is then set with a heat set matte finish. Genesis heat set paints will not rub off or fade. Lacey's photos were taken inside. It was raining here for her photos. The ones inside are with a flash and some with photo back lighting without a flash. There are a few takenwith light tru the window. This way you can see her in different lighting. She is beautiful in her pictures but is so much more beautiful when you are holding her. The depth of her skin tones does not show in the pictures as it does in person. She is beautiful and a special baby. LACEY'S nose is open and backed with black felt. She is a breather. LACEY has the most beautiful head of med brown micro rooted soft curl hair. I shows a red tent but there is no red in this hair. It is premium mohair hand rooted one to two hairs at a time. Itis the best mohair you can buy. It is then sealed on the inside so it can dampened and gently style. It can be worn in soft curls or carefully straighten it with a strightener. I use a kids detangler to gently comb thru hair to style. Use your finger to gently toss her curls while damp. Her hair is soft and shiney. You can see her scalp thru her hair just like a real baby. LACEY'S barely there brows are hand painted. LACEY has a magnet in her mouth for a paci, and one on the left side of her head for a barrett. You must be very carefull around people with pacemakers and around electronics. I can remove the magnets upon request. LACEY has beautiful deep brown eyes. She has moist eyes. Her lips are not too dark, but just right for newborn baby complexion. Her lips have been sealed to have a wet look. I used several layers to get her lips just right. LACEY has baby manicured toes and fingers. They have been sealed at least 3 times. Her little hands and feet are so sweet. No wrinkle has been over looked. They have light veining just where you would expect a baby's to be. . LACEY'S limbs have been weighted with glass pellets and fiberfil. Her arms are 3/4 and her legs are 3/4. Her body is a soft doesuede filled with glass pellets, steel pellets,poly pellets, and fiberfil. She is perfectly weighted and is jointed for easy posing. She wears preemie to newborn clothes. You will have so much fun dressing her and shopping for her from the baby dept. She is floppy and very easy to pose in any position. You will want to cuddle and rock her all the time. She has captured my heart and I hope she will capture your's. You will find it hard to walk by her and not pick her up. She is so precious. There is NO SAND in my babies . They are ready for travel anywhere. LACEY loves to cuddle with her kitty Her kitty's name is Snowball. At night she wants to cuddle with you but she will cry if you do have her blankie and Snowball the kitty. REMEMBER: LACEY loves her kitty and you will find that she will not sleep with out it.
