She has special realistic veining and blushing like a real baby. It is slight and not overdone. She has beautiful baby brown mohair painstakingly rooted 2 strands at a time over many many hours. It is high quality and expensive, but really quite worth it! It can be brushed and styled with ease. She has a ¾ arms and legs which enables her to wear many styles of clothing. Vanessa's head and arms are jointed and can be posed in many varieties. I have specially weighted her so she feels just like a real baby in your arms. I gave Vanessa shiny baby blue eyes and no lashes, for that newborn look. finger and toe nails are carefully detailed to create a nice clean manicured look. She also has a realistic moons. Her lips are softly colored and given a slight sheen. Her eyebrows are hand painted to color coordinate with her hair. The following pictures were taken in natural light in various places and time of day. You would need to see her in person to really appreciate the intricate detailing of her skin texture and veining.
