Mamarita's "Little Darlins" Nursery Is Proud To Introduce Hi, my name is Rita Meese and I am the artist here at "Little Darlins" Nursery. I have been making dolls for many years, and I take time with each baby to "bring it to life". Every one of my "Little Darlins" is a true one of a kind.

Chloe started out as a Secrist "gumdrop" kit. Pat Secrist is one of the most well known doll sculpters. His dolls are just amazing! IGumdrop is a very popular sculpt. No preparation was needed, so I just checked her over well. She was then given a nice warm bubblebath to remove any residue, and the fun began.

Many hours were spent getting this little girls complexion just right She has subtle veining, and blushing in all the right places. This was done with Genesis heat set paints, which are baked right into the vinyl and will never peel or chip.

Chloe was given a nice baby manicure and pedicure. Her nails, as well as her mouth, have been glossed and sealed. Her mouth has a slightly moist look.

I gently opened Chloes' nose so she can "breathe". It has been backed with dark felt to give depth. I painted on barely there eyebrows, and handrooted eyelashes to match her hair.

She has such soft baby hair! It is very fine and wispy. It has been micro-rooted several strands at a time with a very high quality mohair. It has been sealed inside with waterproof glue, so her hair can be gently washed and styled . I strongly reccomend a baby comb and brush. This is a very time consuming process, but well worth it for the results. Her hair feels so real, and appears to be growing right out of her scalp.

Chloe has 3/4 limbs limbs. She has a custom made, fully jointed, doe suede body. She has been weighted and stuffed with polyfill and feels so cuddly you won't want to put her down. There is no sand in any of my dolls.

Chloe is wearing a cute 2 piece outfit. It is very soft velour, and is off-white with little hearts all over. The matching pants have feet with little ribbons on them. She will be wrapped in her blanket for the trip to her new home. She is wearing a crystal name bracelet , a headband, and a diaper. She will also bring her birth certificate. Stud earrings can be added at no extra charge.

I have taken great pleasure in reborning this sweet little girl. I hope to find her a good home.

This is no longer a play toy, but a true one of a kind collectible.
