The baby has 1/4 vinyl limbs.The limbs have been filled with poly pellets and polyfil and were then capped to keep filling in place. Baby has a jointed cloth body.It also been filled with poly pellets and soft polyfil.The joints in the body are easily moved so that the limbs pose easily and the head will need support when holding baby like a real baby.This baby is really cuddly.
Baby has been given a mottled newborn complexion using layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints.The creases have all been shaded,blushing in the usual baby places,veining in various places including his entire head.
Lips have been colored to give them a natural appearance.The nails have been tinted lightly then tipped in an ivory color.They were then sealed with satin varnish for a bit of shine.
Baby's hair has been very sparsely hand rooted with beautiful shiny light brown mohair.You can see the veining and various splotches throughout her hair.The mohair is a straighter style but has a slight wave when dampened.It has been secured on the inside with a waterproof glue so the hair can be dampened and styled.
She also has hand rooted eyelashes that are a darker brown color.
The nose has been opened and backed with felt plus a bit of gloss varnish has been added to the inside for a wet look.
