~Autumn~ November 15, 2009 weight: 4 lbs 6 oz height: 21 inches Hello and welcome to Little Swan's Nursery. My name is Pat, I am the artist behind this little one. I would like to introduce you to my newest baby Autumn. Autumn was created using the adorable new ''Daphne'' doll kit sculpted by the extremely talented Elly Knoops. Elly Knoops has done it again with this adorable little girl with her wide eyes and pouty expression. If Autumn steals your heart please bid as she is the only one like her I will be doing. Autumn has curly premium angora hair in a medium blonde color. Her lashes are hand applied in a medium brown to compliment her hair. She has the most beautiful gray /blue polyglass eyes that I have added a touch of gloss to. Autumn's nose has been opened and back with felt. Genesis heat set paints have been used to create depth and realism to her skin. She has blue and purple undertones and subtle veining just as you see in real infants. Her hair has been directionally hand rooted with the smallest of needles so she has the perfect baby crown at the top of her head. It takes many hours to achieve the wispy look of a young baby, but the results speak for themselves. I was honored last year when my hair rooting tutorial was featured in the November/December issues of Lifelike Dolls magazine. I also wrote and published my tutorial online and would be happy to share it with anyone who is interested if you will send me a message through ask the seller. ) Beautiful little Autumn has been given a new soft doe suede body designed especially for her by Spearsons Doll Bodies. This adorable little girl is evenly weighted to have that wonderful feel of holding a real baby. I weighted her limbs and head with fine glass beads and polly-fil and her body with several bags of glass beads and polly-fil so that when you pick her up she molds into your arms perfectly. She has 3/4 arms and legs. This baby girls nails have been tipped with off white and painted with acrylic gloss varnish. I have included close-up pictures of Autumn so you can better see the details of my work.
