Baby Tara started life as the fussy little sculpt called 'Wibke' from the talented artist; Manuela Muth. The 'Wibke' sculpt is a beautiful little crying baby sculpt with closed eyes that looks so newbornish! She is one the most realistic sculpts I have ever had the pleasure to work with and looks so real she could fool anyone into thinking she is a real baby! I have even given this little sweetheart a real beating heart within her body! When you press a little button on her heart inside her chest you will hear and feel a faint "thump thump"! I have spent many painstakingly hours bringing Tara to life and have become very attached to this little princess.creating reborns is a true labor of love! I would never create a reborn that I wouldn't consider purchasing myself, so you can rest assured if you purchase a reborn from me, you are getting a quality reborn with no detail overlooked. I know you will love Tara as much as I loved creating her.

Please be patient as the pictures load, I have taken many pictures of this adorable baby girl in various poses so that you can see all of her wonderful detail.

When Tara arrived at my home she first received a long, warm bath in Johnson's baby bath to remove any factory oils or residues and to give her a very sweet baby smell! She was then brought to life using Genesis Heat Set Paints. These paints will never fade, chip, or wash off and will keep your reborn beautiful looking for a lifetime! I also DO NOT do an "internal wash" on my reborns, so there is no risk of future bruising with color seeping though.all my painting is done on the outside of the vinyl. Tara has a slight mottling to her skintone just like a real newborn baby! She also has a slight "3D" skintone as there is a small amount of matte finish that I have applied to her to give her skin a bit of a texture and to eliminate shine that usually occurs due to baking the layers of Genesis paint into a reborn's vinyl.

Tara has very realistic looking limbs! Her arms are 3/4 length and her legs are full length. She can fit into all those adorable summer styles and even just a t shirt and a diaper due to her full length legs! Each of her creases and folds on her limbs were blushed with paint in all the right places just like a real baby! She even has tiny veins on her limbs to appear where they would in real life! Tara has also been given a "baby manicure" which means her tiny finger and toe nails have been tipped in a creamy color then tripled sealed with gloss.

Tara's cheeks have been blushed with a pinkish color and she has bluish tones around her ears, nose, inside the corner's of her eyes and also on the crease on the bridge of her nose. Her "barely there" baby eyebrows are painted careful stroke by careful stroke. I have painted very realistic looking capillaries on Tara's eyelids for that young newborn look. I also carefully glossed her eyelids slightly to mimic moisture and makes her lids look oh so real! Her eyes have been hand rooted with brown eyelashes as well. Tara is also a "breather" which means her nose has been carefully opened and then backed with black felt to give the illusion of depth. Tara has an open "fussy" mouth so I paid careful attention to paint her tongue, gums, and inside of her mouth realistically. If you look very closely you will see that I glossed inside her mouth and she has TINY LITTLE SPIT BUBBLES in there! Her little lips have also been realistically tinted and carefully glossed over to seal them as well.

Tara has a full head of painted hair painted with Prismacolor waterpencils in a darker brown color. Her painted hair is sealed on the top with matte sealer so it will not rub or fade off. I usually root my reborn's hair, but Tara's sculpt just seemed to call to me to leave her with painted hair because she looks SO newborn and I felt the painted hair would really bring out her newborn features and show that she is just a brand new baby. Tara's painted hair has been painted in a pattern that looks directionally growing from the crown like a real baby. I really feel her painted hair suits her sculpt well! Because Tara has painted hair, this also makes her ideal to possibly have an older child as a mommy due to the fact that there is no mohair to pull out or muss up.

Tara has been weighted with pollypellets, glass beads, fine glass granuals, and premium fiber fill. There is NO SAND or stones in any of my babies! She has been weighted in all her limbs and her head as well as her tummy and bottom giving her a little "baby tushy". She has a soft, cuddly, white flannel body that is floppy when you hold her. Since Taras head is weighted it will flop back just like a real newborn! So her new mommy will need to take care to support her fragile, little head since little babies need good head support. Her head can also easily turn and she can be posed in numerous ways!

Tara has a real beating heart within her body cavity in the chest area!

When you hold the button down on her heart in her chest, or give her a hug, you can feel and hear a little "thump, thump" of her sweet beating heart! This makes her come to life right in your arms!

Tara wears newborn or 0 3 mos sized clothing best.

You will have so much fun dressing this little princess up!

Tara also has a magnetic pacifier to soothe her cries.

This brings out the natural coloring of this reborn.

Tara is now a doll to be lovingly admired and cared for. She is not suitable for very young children, however possibly an older child who would be gentle.

I have a vast collection of dolls ranging from reborns, to porcelain dolls, to miniature baby sculpts including some prized pieces from master miniature baby artist, Camille Allen. I became interested in reborning a couple of years ago and just fell in love with the art when I bought my first reborn. After enjoying my wonderful reborn babies, I decided that I would like to take a hand in reborning as well. Therefore.Tiny Love Nursery was created! Also, I think that dollmaking is just in my blood. My mother created porcelain dolls for quite a long time as I was growing up and I was always fascinated with the art of dollmaking.
